FCAMPT is the highest manual therapy credential in Canada, held by fewer than 1,500 physiotherapists nationwide. It requires advanced post-graduate training beyond the standard physiotherapy degree.
That means your employees are getting clinical-grade ergonomics advice — not general wellness talking points — from someone who treats desk injuries every day.

We customize the session
Mitch will ask a few short questions about your team and tailor the content accordingly. No generic decks. The session is built around your people.
We deliver. Your team leaves with tools they use.
Interactive, movement-based, and immediately applicable. Attendees leave with a workstation checklist, practical exercises, and answers to their specific questions.
What HR teams are saying.
“Mitch has conducted a Virtual Home Office Ergonomics seminar for two different companies I've worked for, both of which were fantastic. He gave examples of common home office set-up mistakes, best practices for screen height and placement, and posture, and showed us stretches and movements we can do throughout the day. All the info was easy to put into practice immediately, and he effectively answered the team's questions.”
“We used Desk Jockey Physio for our organization in the depths of COVID, when everyone was working long hours at their desks with little movement. Mitch hosted 3 mobility and stretching sessions for us virtually and gave us easy to follow instructions on stretches that targeted the typical desk job pains. He was approachable, professional, and personable. I would highly recommend him to other organizations.”
Questions HR teams ask before booking.
How is this different from a generic wellness vendor or lunch-and-learn?
Every session is led by Mitchell Starkman, a registered physiotherapist with FCAMPT certification — the highest manual therapy credential in Canada. That means your employees are getting clinical-grade advice, not general wellness talking points. Mitch explains why posture problems happen, what the research says, and gives people practical tools they can apply immediately at their actual desks.
What budget line does this fall under?
Most organizations book these sessions under health and wellness, HR programming, or professional development budgets. A formal invoice and letter of agreement are provided for your records. Some companies also use their benefits or L&D budgets.
How quickly can we book a session?
Fill out the inquiry form and you will have a response within 1 business day with availability and a quote. Most sessions are booked 1–3 weeks out. Rush bookings can often be accommodated.
Can we customize the content for our specific team?
Yes — every session is built around your team. If your employees are mostly on laptops, or work from home, or have a specific injury trend you are managing, the content focuses there. You will never get a generic slide deck. Mitch will ask a few questions before the session and tailor accordingly.
What do we need to prepare on our end?
For virtual sessions: send a Zoom or Teams link. For in-person: a room and a projector or screen. That is it. Mitch handles all content, materials, and delivery.
Can we run this for a large team or company-wide?
Yes. Virtual sessions have no attendance cap — sessions have been run for teams of 5 and teams of 500. Multiple sessions can be scheduled for large organizations, including department-by-department rollouts or company-wide all-hands events.
Do you offer ongoing programming?
Yes. Many HR teams book quarterly or annual recurring sessions to build lasting habits and keep ergonomics top of mind. Ongoing programs come with discounted rates and a programming calendar.
Is there a way to measure the impact?
Mitch can provide a post-session attendee feedback survey to share with your leadership team. Many organizations also track benefits utilization and physiotherapy claims before and after implementing regular programming.
